A Message from John Bravman, President

Each fall I welcome Bucknell’s new students, who arrive on campus filled with anticipation and possibility. And each spring I shake the hands of new graduates as they cross the Commencement stage, confident and excited to make their mark on the world. In moments like these and countless others in between, I see the transformative journey our students experience during their time at Bucknell — a journey made possible by the generosity of donors like you.

Your Impact on Bucknell

Made Possible Through Philanthropy

Meet a First Gen Student

Kaylin Reynolds ’27 didn’t expect to end up at Bucknell. The Philadelphia native wasn’t thrilled about leaving the city to move to the rural campus, but as an aspiring writer, Bucknell’s English – creative writing program caught her eye. “Bucknell’s writing programs are listed in the top five on nearly every list I researched,” Reynolds says. “So I applied knowing there was an outstanding program here, but I didn’t see myself in Lewisburg.”

Post Graduate Outcome Report

The report presents the results of an extensive survey and information gathering process conducted by the Center for Career Advancement to obtain postgraduate information for Bucknell University’s Class of 2023. In accordance with guidelines of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the data collected provides a snapshot of students who graduated in the Class of 2023, which is defined as those that graduated in Summer 2022, Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.

The statistics provided are based upon information that consists primarily of survey responses from graduates and additional knowledge gained through faculty/staff reporting and other sources such as LinkedIn. Our targeted nine month outreach is initially accomplished in person at the annual cap and gown distribution followed by multiple outreach efforts such as email, telephone and text message to secure or confirm information.

On the report pages, you will find class highlights, as well as summaries from our colleges and departments. These showcase how the value of a Bucknell education has empowered our graduates to attain meaningful and purposeful experiences in their initial career pursuits.
